Movie Night Party Tips

Movie Night Party
Movie Night Party Ideas
  1. Create an inexpensive and easy party for a great birthday or just a fun night for your kids and their friends.
  2. Send out your ticket invitations for  party fun.  I had made invitations to my son's class movie night.  I took the large popcorn boxes and computer post cards and made a custom invitation.  I printed out the information on the postcards and then glued movie night confetti onto the postcard with a glue stick.  I put the postcard into the popcorn box and use a hole punch and tied the bag with a black ribbon.  I hole punched a movie night placecard that I had personalized with each child's name and put that on the ribbon.  They were really a big hit.
  3. Rent a couple of good kid friendly movies and set make plans to set up a concession stand.  If you really want to splurge rent a slushie or popcorn machine.  You can find movie candy for $1.00 or less.
  4. Great games for a movie night:  charades or pictionary or Scene-It.
  5. Create a movie of your movie night.  We set up a red carpet spot and interviewed each child and recorded all the charades and games.  Send them home with the movie as a favor!
  6. Create your own awards ceremony.  Have the kids vote or create them yourself.  Best Actress, Best Comedian, etc.  We did most likely to play the role of.... and then had characters like Jack Sparrow, Hannah Montana etc.  The kids voted and thought it was great fun!
  7. Have the kids come dressed as their favorite character!
  8. Decorate for your movie night with fun Hollywood Street Signs or fun Movie Night Cutouts
  9. Take keepsake pictures with kids positioned under the Movie Night metallic fringe!
  10. Use the popcorn boxes for they favor items for a unique favor bag.  Personalize a clapboard keyring with each guests name and attach them to your popcorn boxes.
  11. Sit back and relax while they watch a movie!  We did a backyard movie night where we used a computer projecter to project the movie to the back of our house!  The kids loved it.
  12. Have fun!
