Farm Animal Party Supplies

Farm & Barnyard Party Supplies

 Planning a Hoe-Down

  1. Plan to mail your farm animal party invitations 2-3 weeks prior to your event.
  2. When you mail your invites make sure to use the birthday party.  Use your farm animal stickers to close and decorate your invitation envelopes. This is a project you can trust your little one to help with so they will feel a part of the planning. My boys love helping with the invites.
  3. Ask everyone to come dressed in overalls. Dress your little one in overalls with a bandanna and cowboy hat.
  4. When they arrive give them a bandanna or cowboy hat to wear. Fold a red bandanna in half to create a triangle and tie small tips in a loose knot.
  5. If your budget permits, hire a petting zoo of baby animals to come to the party.
  6. Set up your party room or your back yard with your Birthday Banner, table cover, crepe paper and farm animal balloons the day of the party.  Fun balloons include our Piggy Balloon, Baby Cow BalloonCow Spotted Balloons and Farm Animal Latex Balloons.   Tie a balloon to your farm animal bandanna favors and so the kids can take one home and it doubles as cute decorations (less clean up for you!) or weigh them down with our farm animal beanies
  7. Create a cow spotted cake . Bake a cake in a 9X13 pan and spot with chocolate and vanilla frosting or use gel frosting to create black spots on white cake.  Use our farm animal cake topper, farm scene cake decoration.
  8. Other birthday cake ideas: create black and white spotted cupcakes, create pink cupcakes and draw a piggy. Check our fun farm animal cupcake picks to create your own cupcakes.  Create a cow face by using a round cake and use two cupcakes as his ears!   Use our fun farm animal candles set of 6 to decorate cupcakes or your cake or use our 6 piece farm animal candles.
  9.  Use little tin pails for cutlery, condiments or to create centerpieces. Fill them with granola or cereal grains to use as party feed.
  10. Play a game of hot potato but substitute a potato for a farm animal beanie, winner keeps the beanie!
  11. Use pom-poms and pipe cleaners to make cute farm animal as a fun party craft. Use various sizes to create bodies and heads. Glue on wiggly eyes and use pipe cleaners as legs or tails!
  12. Have the kids create farm animal puppets with plain lunch sacks. Pre-cut ears, noses etc for small children, let older children create their own. Use construction paper and glue sticks.
  13. Use our farm animal party hat activity to create fun party hats.
  14. Use our cow cookie cutter, pig cookie cutter, horse cookie cutter, barn cookie cutter, duck cookie cutter to create adorable cookie favors or for the brave at heart let the kids do the decorating!
  15. Create farm animal chocolates for favors or a cupcake topper.
  16. Create a square dance. Make it easy like swing your partner and teach them to do-si-do!
  17. Use your balloons and have races where your guests have to run holding their balloon between their knees.
  18. Use our Pig, Cow , Tractor , Barn or Horse piņata for a fun game. Fill the piņata with treats or candy.
  19. Sing fun farm related songs and games. Duck, Duck, Goose is a great toddler or preschool game. Sing a round of Farmer and the Dell or B-I-N-G-O
  20. Create a game of pin the tail on the piggy or pin the nose on the piggy. Or pin the spots on the cow.
  21. Have the kids create spotted balloons with white balloons and black markers.
  22. Play a game of hide the treat bags! Hide all your guests treat bags and have the guest hunt for their treat bag. One bag per guest! Once they locate they can help the others.
  23. Sing happy birthday and light your candles. Let your child blow them out.
  24. Let your child open their presents.
  25. Serve your birthday cake.
  26. Have everyone sign your autograph horse for a great keepsake!
  27. Most of all have fun and take loads of pictures!
