Planning a Army Boot Camp Theme Party

  1. When you mail your invites make sure to use the our fun military themed stickers to close your invitations. Send your invitations at least 2 weeks in advance of your party date.
  2. Set up your party room with fun camouflage decorations, banners and balloons the day of the party.
  3. Create a camouflage cake or just create a 9 by 13 cake and decorate with army guys and tanks. Use our ball cake pan to create a helmet cake by cutting it in half, use licorice as a strap. Our use our Little Hero pan to create a soldier cake
  4. Use your helicopter cookie cutters to cut out sandwiches. Just make simple cheese or peanut butter sandwiches and use your cutters to cut out the centers. Our use the cutters to create yummy cookies. Cookies will make a great favor and treat or let the kids deocrate for a fun party activity.
  5. Weather permitting have a camp out in your back yard or a camp out in your living room. Plan to roast hot dogs and make s’mores and serve beans! Even if you cannot have a bon fire use an outdoor fire place pit to create the mood.
  6. Create an obstacle course for the recruits outside or in an open area. Gear up with a military helmet and perhaps our camouflage wristbands. Have the birthday boy check out our camo gear costume. Utilize play sets and equipment. Lay out string rings for tires, boxes to leap over etc give a boot camp certificate for completing their training.
  7. Create a secret mission to capture the kidnapped cake. Strategically place clues throughout your party area leading them to the next clue. Create obstacles to the recruits like throwing soft balls or squirting them with water guns or toss a few camouflage soaker balls.
  8. Create relay races and make the kids wear their hats, blow up rifles, and keep them on while running.
  9. Let your child open his presents and serve your birthday cake.
  10. Most of all have fun & take loads of pictures. Don't forget for the guest to sign the birthday boy's helmet!
  11. Other Military Party Games & Activities·
  • Let the kids fill out their dog tags
  • Create fun boot camp names. Create a general, sargent and admirals.·
  • Play army. Let the kids engage in their own combat games.·Ask your guest to come in army/camouflage attire.
  • Face paint your soldiers with camouflage (easy to do with some dark green, brown and black eye shadow with a cotton ball).
  • Or give everyone a tattoo
  • Act like a drill sergeant and use your whistle! ·
  • Have the kids do push ups & sit ups and see who can do the most!
  • Reward your guests with Boot Camp Certificates and Party Favors!
